ProjectCalc provides free calculators that estimate material quantities for construction and home-improvement projects. No account is required and no payment is taken. We may add, change, or withdraw calculators at any time, and formulas may be revised — each calculator displays its version and review date so you can tell when it last changed.

Results are planning estimates. They are not engineering calculations, structural design, professional surveying, or advice about building regulations, and they must not be used as a substitute for any of those. See the disclaimer for the specific limits, which form part of these terms.

You are responsible for checking quantities against your own measurements, your supplier's product data and your local building requirements before ordering materials or starting work.

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download or systematically copy the calculators or their content;
• republish substantial portions of the site as your own;
• attempt to disrupt the site or probe it for vulnerabilities without permission;
• frame or embed the calculators on another site without our agreement.

Normal personal and professional use — including using a result in a quote you give a client — is fine and needs no permission.

The calculators, written explanations, diagrams, design and branding on this site belong to ProjectCalc. The underlying mathematics and published industry conventions do not, and we make no claim over them. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link.

ProjectCalc is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this site — including over-ordered or under-ordered materials, wasted labour, project delays or consequential costs.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.

We link to manufacturer and industry sources so you can check our assumptions. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their practices.

These terms may be updated; the date above shows the last revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
